DYEING

Colour is a very important and exciting ingredient in textile crafts. The art of dyeing your own fleece, yarn or cloth makes it possible to give your project that very special 'one of a kind' look. Gone are the days when only natural dyes were used.

Chemical and fibre reactive dyes are easy to use  and can give your works a whole new lift. In addition the tradition of natural dyeing is also maintained.

Dyes can be purchased from the Guild yarn room and classes and weekend workshops are held from time to time.
