In October 2010, we are planning to have Nynke Piebanga come and give us an expanded, 2 day version of the workshops she gave at the recent Creative Fibre Festival in Whangarei. We are also exploring the possibility of a 'Thick and Thin ' workshop with Nynke. Please contact the Guild office to register your interest
THEO MOORMAN TECHNIQUE
We are hoping to arrange a class in the 'Theo Moorman' technique. This is
a weaving technique which allows you to create images on the loom. The effect is
rather like tapestry weaving, but the warp threads are loom controlled, rather
than hand manipulated, and it is much faster to weave.
Dates will be arranged when we have sufficient interest. Please
Guild office to register your interest.
